Berry Basket Give Away!!

Quart Sized Berry Basket with liner & label holder!

This is a vintage berry basket with a handmade liner, one side is vintage blue/white quilt ticking, the other side is linen. On the front there is a metal label holder with card stock labels to easily organize & identify the basket's contents.

The Berry Baskets have been one of my best sellers on my Etsy site, Stoney Creek Mercantile! I sell this particular basket for $19.99 but I'm offering it for free here on my blog.

So here's the scoop! This basket will be given away completely free to 1 person who follows my blog publicly (bottom right hand side) and leaves a comment on this post about what you would like to use this basket for. In 1 week I will randomly select a winner, which I will identify here on this post but I will also contact you directly!

I'm excited to hear some great ideas!!

  1. I have the giveaway set to post to my blog tonight! Hope you get lots of entries. (Quilty Giveaways is a good one that you can link your giveaway post to... (http://quiltygiveaways.blogspot.com/2011/01/january-24th-january-30th-giveaways.html). I would use the basket for craft supplies--cards or maybe some small pieces of fabric.

  8. I just realized I wasn't already a follower! I'm not sure how I'd use the basket but a few ideas I have are using it as a recipe card holder, to hold extra bias tape and canvas straps for sewing, to put on a changing table to hold the lotions and diaper cream, to keep individually wrapped tea bags in... It's really cute!

  10. More great ideas!! Thanks Everyone! If any of you aren't from around Indiana, we are expecting a nasty little snow storm in the next two days. It's very possible central Indiana will be without power for several days so... I may not be able to keep track of the blog or respond on the 1 week deadline. I will announce the winner & get the basket mailed out as soon as I can though! Thanks again! Keep sending those suggestions & Thanks for the Follows!!

  11. I make hair accessories and pins from fabric scraps, and I am constantly losing track of all the tiny things it takes to make them! I would use it to organize my different colors of thread, and some of my findings.

    Thanks for this great give-away!
