This weeks how-to is super easy!
I'm not taking credit for this idea, I have seen it posted on other blogs but I put a Stoney Creek spin on it and made it our own.
Attached is a simple PDF plan on how to build the tent frame and the layout for the cover.
I used a full sized bed sheet and did a very small amount of cutting and sewing. The dimensions can be played with except for the dimensions from right to left, you want the sides to just meet at the bottom of the tent frame so you can tie them down.
The overhanging fabric at the front is tied back, I added small grommets to the fabric where I wanted a tie back, don't forget to use interfacing or something of the like behind the fabric when adding a grommet otherwise it may rip out.
The overhanging fabric at the back just hangs there, it makes a nice wall to the back of the tent but also allows the little one to walk through!
The white curtains and "swag" were added for their decorative value :)
Let's go camping! :)
